Sound Identity
Plastic does not have an easy standing in society. The energy and resources used in its manufacture and the images of growing mountains of unrecyclable waste overshadow the industry's ambitions to address these challenges. The economic benefits of plastic have led to excessive consumption of disposable items. Yet plastics are actually a valuable resource and can play an important role in a sustainable future if they are used responsibly and with a low environmental impact.
The sound identity of "Plastics Unwrapped" creates this very tension in which both the industry and consumers find themselves: Oscillating between hope, optimism and technical know-how. The listener is thus conditioned and attuned to what awaits him in the coming conversation - and is again "released" at the end with the right feeling.
Leading global thinkers and doers from the fields of technology, politics, civil society, science and business take part in the discussion sessions. Since they are located all over the world, most of the recordings take place virtually. In order to create an immersive "roundtable feeling", great importance is attached to high quality in terms of recording and editing during production. Accordingly, the participants are brought in from local recording studios wherever possible. The recording management and technical production is carried out by DoN.
The podcast is very successful in the B2B world, accordingly three seasons have already been produced and published (-> Dow Corporate "Plastics Unwrapped")

…the result pushes all the buttons that we wanted and really helps to put the listeners in the right state of mind for our podcast project. And one can clearly hear that DoN not only knows about branding, but also has great skills and a profound heritage in music production!
We were fully engaged all the way through and felt included in the creation process. We were trying to transmit a sense of hope, optimism, tech know-how and inspiration. It really adds to our overall podcast series. From a production standpoint, DoN has been essential in bringing the participants of the podcast closer together on a virtual level. They are always on top of things, and the quality speaks for itself. Thank you DoN for your support!
